The existing Temple land in Ravindra Housing Society, Madhapur was once surrounded by Rocks and boulders and was no approach Road to the site. In the year 2013, construction of Hindu temple proposal came before the EC of Sarojini Naidu Nagar Welfare Association. After elaborate discussions, the EC opined to register a new Hindu religious society in the name of Sri Venkateswara Temple Committee.
- Registration of Sri Venkateswara Temple Committee: It was formed as a Registered Society vide Regn. No.1542/2013 Dt.11.12.2013 under AP Societies Registration Act, 2001 With aims & objectives of construction of Hindu religious temples, Veda Patasala, Goshala etc. Since then, Construction of the temple is as per the aims and objectives of “Sri Venkateswara Temple Committee”.
- M/s. Sri Venkateswara Temple Committee registered with Dr. YSN Murthy as President, Prof. G Ramachandraiah as Vice President, Mr. VSR Gandhi as General Secretary, Dr. V. Siva Rami Reddy as Joint Secretary & Mr Sudheer Kosraju as Treasurer, Mr. N. Rama Krishna and Mr. P. Chennarayudu as Executive members. The construction of Temple is carried by the Temple Society by inviting funds/donations from Devotees and members.
- Registration of Sri Venkateswara Temple Complex (Public Trust): In 2015, the temple construction was stopped due to lack of funds. Then, The Executive Committee has offered Trust Membership for those who contributed Rs.5 Lakhs and above towards construction of the temple. In the EC on 29.4.2015, it was decided to take anyone as Trust Members, who donate Rs.5 Lakhs or more.
- On the advice of advocate, the Trust by name “Sri Venkateswara Temple Complex” was registered on 23-3-2017 with all the Temple Committee Members, and with the former Presidents and the General Secretaries, who served for the development of Sarojini Naidu Nagar/Kakateeya Hills since the inception, by paying Rs.1,11,116/- and also with the members who paid Rs.5 Lakhs and more before 23rd March, 2017. The Trust was registered with 12 Trust Board Members, i.e. 7 Temple committee members, 2 Former Presidents and 3 members who paid Rs.5 lakhs, Namely Mr. M R V Prasada Rao, DR. V. Siva Rami Reddy, Mr. Sudheer Kosaraju, Prof. G. Ramachandraiah, DR. Y S N Murthy, Mr. N. Ramakrishna, Mr. P. Chenna Rayudu, Mr. P. Anup Kumar, Mr. V S R Gandhi, Mr. V. Kotesswara Rao, Smt Divi Vijaya Lakshmi, Mr. T. Kishore Babu Since then, The temple construction activities were taken up by the Temple Trust.
- From 23.3.2017, “Sri Venkateswara Temple Complex” started functioning as Trust and taking care of all the activities of Temple in place of Sri Venkateswara Temple Committee.
- This temple was built with the cooperation of the Ravindra Cooperative Society, Sarojini Naidu Nagar Welfare Association, Kakatheeya Hills Welfare Association, and the members of the Sri Venkatewara Temple Committee/ Sri Venkatewara Temple Complex. With the contributions from donors,
- Under the guidance of Mr. VSR Gandhi and with the tremendous efforts of Mr. Kosaraju Sudheer this temple was completed and is dedicated to all devotees. “May God shower blessings to all the donors who made this great endeavor possible”
- Vigraha Prathistha: The Temple was constructed and Vigrahas Prathistha was performed on 14.3.2019 within its available resources. The deities of Lord Venkateswara Swamy along with Sri PadmavathiDevi, and Sri Goda Devi and also Garuda Alwar, Jaya & Vijaya were presented by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and the deities were installed in the temple i.e on ‘, Revati Nakshatra, Meenalagna,’. The poojas are being performed according to ‘Vaikhanasa Aagama Sampradayam’, TTD also follows the same!.
- In 2019, two more Trust members were taken into Trust Board, who donated more than Rs.10 Lakhs for the development of the temple, Namely Mr. Rupesh Agarwal, Mr. P. Sreedhar.
- Recently in 2023, one more member was taken into Trust Board, who donated about Rs.25 lakhs for the development of the temple, Namely Mrs. Radhika Agarwal.
- Now the Trust Board consists of 15 Trust Members. It elects the Managing Trustee from the Trust Board and elect/nominate the Managing Committee for a term or 2 years. The Managing Trustee with the Temple Management Committee will maintain the day-to-day functions of the Temple.
- The Management committee will be formed by Election/Nomination. The office bearers of the Management Committee is elected/nominated from Maharaja Poshakulu/Trustees. The EC members will be elected/nominated from Maha Raja Poshakulu, Raja Poshakulu or Poshakulu.
